From the desk of Elaine Cunningham, via facebook:
The eBook release date for my Forgotten Realms novel EVERMEET is Tuesday, August 7. If you plan to purchase this eBook, would you consider doing so on the release date?
Here’s the thing: EVERMEET was published in 1998, so I’m expecting “long tail” sales numbers. But there’s a wide spectrum of midlist/long tail books for which even a few sales can make a huge difference in rank. A strong start out the gate can increase a book’s visability and make a significant impact on its future. Reviews are also extremely helpful.
The elves of Evermeet thank you for your consideration. And before you ask, no, that is NOT a young John Travolta on the cover. :)
The old character journal of my half-song dragon bard, Anaria Baker (Ornierjerankilith).
The Dracorage analogy above is something important. She had to defend her party members in a trial after she got them arrested, and used the example of elves protecting red dragons while they slept during the dracorage as an example of why even those who do evil deserve a second chance.
It totally worked.
These are pretty old…
A quick half hour sketch of Anaria, my old half-song dragon bard, in her human disguise. Anaria (true name Ornierjeran’kilith in Draconic) was an accomplished bard living in Waterdeep, a graduate of New Olamn and quite the diva.
